Clearwater Paper Completes Acquisition Financing

Cahill represented Banc of America Securities as initial purchaser in the Rule 144A/Reg S offering of $375,000,000 7 1/8% Senior Notes due 2018 by Clearwater Paper Corporation, a manufacturer of consumer tissue, bleached paperboard and wood products. The deal was completed upon Clearwater's announcement of the expiration of the HSR waiting period for its planned acquisition of Cellu Tissue Holdings, a producer of tissue products. The net proceeds will be used to partially finance the acquisition.
