The Legal Aid Society Honors Cahill Partners at Fall Benefit
Date: 09/17/15
On September 16, David Januszewski and Peter Sloane were honored at The Legal Aid Society of New York's Fall Benefit to celebrate The Kathryn A. McDonald Education Advocacy Project. David and Peter were recognized for their efforts to create and sustain a pro bono project that has provided early intervention and special education advocacy to over 125 infants, toddlers and preschoolers who are involved in foster care and child welfare cases in New York City.
Through Cahill's partnership with the Legal Aid Society's Kathryn A. McDonald Education Advocacy Project, Cahill lawyers advocate for early intervention, special education, and general education for children in New York City's child welfare, delinquency and persons-in-need-of-supervision systems.
