Cahill's Capital Markets practice generated top rankings in a number of debt and equity categories in Bloomberg's Q1 2018 Global Legal Adviser league tables, reflecting Cahill's prominence as legal advisers to underwriters of debt and equity securities.
Cahill ranked as the number one legal adviser to U.S. high yield bond underwriters, advising on 27 transactions that generated nearly $18 billion in aggregate gross proceeds, and capturing a 38% share of the U.S. high yield market. Cahill has been the number one ranked legal adviser to U.S. high yield underwriters in the legal advisory league tables since 2005.
Cahill ranked third in Bloomberg’s US Corporate Bonds category, advising in 42 transactions that generated approximately $29 billion in aggregate gross proceeds, and ranked among the most active legal advisers to U.S. investment grade bond underwriters, European high yield bond underwriters and global bond underwriters.
On the equity side, Cahill ranked among the top ten legal advisers to U.S. underwriters of equity offerings and equity-linked offerings, advising on 9 deals that generated approximately $4 billion in aggregate gross proceeds.
