Cahill’s Capital Markets Practice Earns Highest Distinctions Across Bloomberg’s FY 2019 League Tables

Cahill's Capital Markets and Lending practice has once again earned the top ranks in various debt and equity categories in Bloomberg's FY 2019 Global Legal Adviser league tables. These rankings reflect Cahill's prominence as the preeminent legal advisers to underwriters of debt and equity securities.
For the fourteenth consecutive year, Cahill earned the distinction of being ranked as the #1 legal adviser to U.S. high yield bond underwriters. In 2019, Cahill advised underwriters in 140 transactions, which generated over $84 billion in aggregate gross proceeds and captured almost 36% share of the U.S. high yield market. In the U.S. Corporate Bonds category, Cahill generated over $125 billion in aggregate gross proceeds advising for 183 transactions and capturing over 10% of the market share. The firm is also ranked among the most active legal advisers to underwriters of U.S. investment grade bonds, European high yield bonds, Canadian bonds, and global bonds.
On the equity side, Cahill ranked among the top 15 legal advisers to U.S. underwriters of equity offerings, advising on seven deals which generated approximately $3.58 billion in aggregate gross proceeds.
In total, Cahill’s global capital markets and lending practice activity generated over a staggering $289 billion in aggregate gross proceeds across all ranked categories for 2019.
