Co-Chair of the firm’s Executive Committee and Chair of the Firm’s Litigation Department, Herbert Washer, has been recognized by Chambers USA as an Eminent Practitioner for his efforts in New York Litigation: Securities. Top financial clients praised Herb, noting “He's got an amazing presence - he makes people feel he's calm and in control." Additionally, partners David Januszewski and Sheila Ramesh were recognized as go-to litigators to handle various complex securities and commercial disputes in the 2023 publication. In the New York Litigation: General Commercial table, partners Landis Best and Tammy Roy were praised as experienced litigators with proven track-records, evident in the practice’s ranking on the prestigious New York Litigation: General Commercial: The Elite table for the fifteenth consecutive year.

Lauded in Chambers USA for their valuable trial experience and “outstanding commitment to clients”, Chair of Cahill’s White Collar and Government Investigations practice group, Anirudh Bansal, has achieved high rankings in this year’s publication. Anirudh, ranked Band 1 for New York Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations, was praised for his work on a full range of criminal investigations and regulatory matters, with one client noting, "He is both a creative legal thinker and incredibly effective at trial, set apart by his combination of credibility and ability to be quick on his feet." The team has earned continued ranking in the “Elite” table for New York Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations and Band 1 ranking in the “Highly Regarded” nationwide table for Corporate Crime & Investigations.

Cahill partners Brian Markley and Brock Bosson, both ranked in the FCPA table, were acclaimed for their “strong practice in investigations and compliance with multinational corporations” in the Chambers USA 2023 guide. Commenting on Brian’s expertise, one client said, "Brian's command of the subject matter is encyclopedic and his awareness of how industry peers approach similar matters is instructive." Additionally, clients praised Brock for his “superb understanding of business needs and appreciation of competing factors."

Partner David Wishengrad, highly ranked in the Nationwide Financial Services Regulation: Broker Dealer: Enforcement table, was praised as a litigator who “perfectly balances legal expertise with superior knowledge of the financial products or complex trading at issue. It's a combination clients need in this field."

Having joined Cahill as partner and Chair of the firm’s Life Sciences Patent Litigation practice earlier this year, Gerald Flattmann was ranked Band 2 in New York Intellectual Property: Patent, with the 2023 publication highlighting his maintenance of “a respected patent practice focusing on representation of life sciences sector clients in a range of disputes.”

Cahill’s First Amendment Litigation practice has earned continued success in the New York and Nationwide tables, with Joel Kurtzberg ranked in Band 1 and Band 2, respectively. Clients note that Joel is a "world-class defense counsel,” who “understands all of the broad and short strokes of what is required in a case.” When asked about partner Landis Best, clients highlighted her “helpful guidance” concerning litigation for major media companies.
