Cahill’s Securities Litigation Practice Profiled as a 2019 Law360 Practice Group of the Year

In connection with recognition as a Law360 Practice Group of the Year, Cahill’s Securities Litigation practice was profiled by the publication. The profile highlights the firm’s month of September, which saw seven major victories and developments in approximately five weeks.
The profile focuses on Cahill’s work on behalf of client Credit Suisse, “helping it beat a spate of bond- and rate-rigging class actions and leading it as the only bank out of 16 to fight a sprawling foreign exchange market manipulation lawsuit rather than settle.”
“It was actually, I think, the most extraordinary month I have ever experienced,” Herb Washer, Cahill’s Chair of Litigation, told Law360. “We had dozens of people who had invested, in many instances, years into each of these cases, and to see all that effort come to fruition within the span of four weeks or so was pretty astonishing and gratifying for the whole litigation group,” he said.
