With respect to M&A: middle-market (under $500 million), The Legal 500 ranked Cahill as a top tier law firm, with clients noting “the speed, pragmatism, deep understanding of complex issues, creative problem-solving and flexible approach to issues are phenomenal, and exactly what any general counsel would want.”
The new edition also recommends Cahill in Securities: Shareholder Litigation, General Commercial Litigation and White Collar Defense, noting the firm as known for being "thorough, engaging and incredibly responsive," citing clients who praised the firm for its "strong, efficient team of great people who are experts in substantive and procedural law.” With respect to Insurance: Advice to Insurers, Cahill was ranked among the top seven firms nationally.
Within Telecoms and Broadcast: Regulatory and Transactional categories, The Legal 500 recommends Cahill’s Washington, D.C.-based communications practice, in part based on sources commenting on Cahill “providing excellent and trusted service” and “responding quickly, thoughtfully, and knowledgeably with efficiency and practicality.”
Now in its 29th year, The Legal 500 United States is an independent guide that surveys and interviews more than 250,000 corporate counsel each year. Firms and individuals are recommended purely on merit. It designs its rankings to truly reflect the needs of corporate counsel by focusing on the strength and depth of the teams (practice and associates) rather than simply individual partners.
