James Miller is a counsel in Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP's litigation practice group.
Jim’s practice primarily focuses on advising global financial institutions, including commercial and investment banks, broker/dealers, underwriters, and corporations in complex securities and antitrust litigation, internal investigations and regulatory inquiries, including by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, State Attorneys General, NY Department of Financial Services, and the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
Jim has served as counsel to major financial institutions in numerous high-profile matters, including alleged manipulation of the commodities, securities and municipal bond markets, the setting of LIBOR and other rates, as well as criminal, regulatory and civil matters arising out of the collapse of Enron. Jim has also represented CFOs in accounting fraud matters.
