Date: 11/29/16
A Cahill litigation team prevailed on behalf of Deutsche Bank AG in litigation brought by investment funds Integra FX3X Fund, L.P. and Integra Investment Management, L.P. in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. On March 22, 2016, U.S. District Judge Paul Oetken granted Deutsche Bank’s motion to dismiss Integra’s original complaint, but gave Integra leave to amend its claims. On April 12, 2016, Integra filed an amended complaint asserting claims for breach of written and oral contract relating to Deutsche Bank’s margining methodology for Integra’s foreign exchange prime brokerage account. On November 29, 2016, Judge Oetken granted Deutsche Bank’s motion to dismiss Integra’s amended complaint with prejudice, finding that Integra failed to state either of its claims.
