Cahill Sponsors The Door’s Joining in Justice Reception

On April 4th, Cahill sponsored the Joining in Justice fundraising event hosted by The Door Legal Services Center. In attendance from Cahill were partner Sean Davis, Pro Bono counsel Artemis Anninos and counsel Peter Mazzone, associates Joe Messina, Scott Singer, and Jehan Slavin and Pro Bono paralegal Aleezé Qadir who have provided pro bono representation in matters for The Door. Cahill also congratulates this year’s hosts, Peter Mazzone and Scott Singer.
For years, Cahill attorneys have provided pro bono legal assistance to young persons through The Door’s Emancipation Clinic and their Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (“SIJS”) Program. Through the SIJS Program, our attorneys represent young people who are abandoned, abused, or fleeing violence elsewhere in the world in their applications for lawful permanent residency in the United States. Our partnership with The Door continues as Cahill summer associates will be working on Emancipation Clinic and SIJS matters this summer.
