Cahill Named Among the Nation's Elite Law Firms by The Legal 500 2017

The Legal 500 United States has again ranked Cahill Gordon & Reindel among the nation’s elite law firms in its 2017 edition, recognizing the firm in the categories of Corporate Investigations and White Collar Criminal Defense, General Commercial Disputes, Securities Litigation, Capital Markets, Commercial Lending, Insurance, M&A, and Media, Technology & Telecoms. Forty-five individual Cahill attorneys have also been recognized in the latest edition of the guide.

The firm’s Washington, D.C. office was recommended for its regulatory and transactional work within Media, Technology and Telecoms.

The 2017 edition again ranks Cahill’s high-yield debt practice as the only tier-one firm, describing the firm as a stand-out player in the high-yield space’ and for many, ‘no other firm comes close’.

Cahill was also ranked in the top firms for debt and equity offerings, as well as tier-one for commercial lending, and with respect to middle-market M&A (under $500 million), Cahill was ranked among the top eight firms nationally.

The new edition describes Cahill’s team in Corporate Investigations and White-Collar Defense and Securities Litigation: Defense, as “highly responsive, excellent at client preparation and has a strong team at partner and associate level’.

Within the category of Insurance: Advice to Insurance, Cahill was recommended as a tier-two firm, providing “top-notch advice and a responsive service.”
